Previously

Axel has over 20 years of international experience in corporate strategy and M&A  in cutting-edge technology industries.


He led 40+ cross-border M&A transactions on 5 continents undertaken by various large corporates such as Alten, Segula Technologies, Atos and Worldline for a total of 3.8 billion USD deal value. 

Axel notably played an instrumental role in Atos' tender offer on Bull (620m€), acquisition of Xerox ITO (1,040m$) and Worldline's IPO on Euronext Paris (2,200m€). Afterwards, he worked on a couple of private equity and LBO transactions as an independent consultant. 

With a rare business acumen, Axel develops a strategic, operational, hands-on approach of complex corporate finance transactions to enable robust shareholder value creation. He aims at yielding a concrete, transformational impact on most advanced technology companies.  He is passionate about strategic and financial foresight. 

Odyssey's journey


Axel founded Odyssey in 2020 to create innovative strategic and financial consulting services for technology companies. 

 

Fascinated by technological innovation, he then specialized in emerging innovators and disruptors. He is now on a mission to help the French and European tech ecosystems further develop on healthy business and financial grounds in order to meet most strategic sovereignty and sustainability objectives at EU level.  

 

Impact is at the heart of his entrepreneurial project by undertaking numerous initiatives to  reconcile technology and sustainability.

He actively participates in project execution and takes special care of technology startups on their way to strategic differentiation, M&A  and fundraising projects. 

 

 

Education

Graduated from ESSEC Business School, Université Paris Dauphine- PSL, and certified international director by INSEAD. Former finance teacher at HEC Paris and Mines ParisTech.
