§ 01 · When it applies
"Our question is not on your list."
Some decisions do not fit a fixed scope: a capability to specify before a build, an executive team to align in a few days, an analysis no template covers, a method your teams must own.
Bespoke missions apply the AI Strategy Framework™ and the same standards as the Signatures. What changes is the perimeter, the duration and the fee, set together after a first call with a partner.
§ 02 · Formats
Four formats, one standard.
The most frequent bespoke missions. Each is scoped to your situation and priced on proposal.
FORMAT 01
AI agent specification
PRD, target architecture, system prompts and guardrails, evaluation framework, deployment plan, inference cost model. The document your engineering partner builds against — before the build budget commits.
FORMAT 02
AI Strategy Sprint™
An executive programme that brings AI steering to Comex level in a few intensive sessions: shared diagnosis, arbitrated priorities, governance decided.
FORMAT 03
Bespoke analyses
Market studies, competitive intelligence, sector benchmarks or financial modelling, when the question needs an answer the catalogue does not frame.
FORMAT 04
Method transfer
Our frameworks, templates and measurement routines handed over to your teams, with coaching until they run them on their own.
§ 03 · How it works
From first call to signed scope.
Each mission is scoped, priced and signed by the partner who delivers it.
STEP 01
Partner call
Thirty minutes to understand the question, the stakes and the deadline — and to tell you plainly whether we are the right firm.
STEP 02
Scoping note
Within a few days: the question restated, the perimeter, the deliverables, the calendar and the fee.
STEP 03
Kick-off
Framing session with the sponsor. Access to data and people agreed.
STEP 04
Delivery
Working sessions at the pace the scope sets, with interim reviews along the way.
STEP 05
Handover
Final session with the partner: deliverables signed, next steps agreed.
§ 04 · Frequently asked
Six honest answers to common questions.
How is a bespoke mission priced?
On proposal, after a first call. Three factors drive the fee: the scope, the number of people and systems involved, and the deadline. The scoping note states it before anything starts.
When should I choose a Signature instead?
When your question matches one. Signatures are faster to launch and priced up front; Bespoke is for the questions they do not cover. On the first call, we tell you which fits.
Do you build what you specify?
No. Odyssey specifies — we do not build. We hand the specification to your engineering team or your preferred build partner, and stay independent of build economics.
Is your work tied to one AI vendor?
No. Our recommendations are independent of any vendor. Where a model or platform choice matters, we say which and why.
What if the project turns out not to be viable?
That is a valid outcome. Some missions conclude that a simpler automation will do, or that the value is not there for the cost. We will not manufacture a yes.
Can a bespoke mission follow a Signature?
Often. A Signature such as AI Strategy Readiness or AI Make, Buy or Partner frequently surfaces a question that needs its own mission. The bespoke scope then builds on what has already been delivered.
§ Ready when you are
A question that deserves its own mission.
Thirty minutes with a partner to scope it. Priced on proposal, signed by a partner.
